Whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.   Matthew 18:5

Who We Are

Established in 2009, Love and Grace Ministries provides a home for boys who have been orphaned or whose families cannot take care of them. Our vision is to provide an upbringing that will shape them into caring, conscientious adults. The home started with five boys and now have 25 well-adjusted boys and young men.

Sadly, it is the country’s children which suffer the most in the wake of terrible circumstances and natural disasters which makes the need for a boys home even more necessary. Knowing that the children of Haiti are in need of extra love and support, Love and Grace Ministries came to the island to establish homes where they can feel cared for and safe.

Food ~ Shelter ~ God has provided us with two buildings that we rent, the Boys Home and the Bridge Home. Due to the violence in Haiti, we have had to move both homes to a safer area, but our desire is to be able to move back to our original homes when the country becomes free from gang violence. We provide the boys with three meals a day, medical and dental access.

Christ-Centered ~ Our goal is to equip the boys with a hope for the future, and the kind of knowledge and skills that will help them lead Haiti’s next generation of leaders. We reach out to the surrounding community to provide stable jobs for Christian staff members to hire so they are actively involved in helping the boys grow in their faith.

Education ~ There are no public schools in Haiti therefore, most children in Haiti cannot receive an education. All our boys are required to attend private school and we provide them with uniforms and school supplies. We also provide a tutor for them after school.

Our Mission Statement

To provide for the children of Haiti, a home where they will be cared for with the utmost kindness, love, and respect. To reach boys from this nation for Jesus Christ and create a brighter tomorrow for Haiti by raising up the next generation of Haitian leaders today

Our Statement of Faith

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God to all men. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. II Timothy 1:13; 3:16-17, II Peter 1:20-21, Psalm 12:6; 119:105,160, Proverbs 30:5

We believe in one God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and that these three are co-eternal and of equal dignity and power. Genesis 1:1,26,27; 3:22, Psalm 90:2, Matthew 28:19, I Peter 1:2, II Corinthians 13:14

We believe that man was created by and for God; that by man's disobeying God, every person incurred spiritual death, which is separation from God, and physical death as a consequence; and that all people are sinners by nature and practice. Genesis 1:27, Psalm 8:3-6, Isaiah 53:6, Romans 3:23, Isaiah 59:1-2

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit; His virgin birth; His sinless life; His substitutionary death on a cross; His bodily resurrection; His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and His personal, imminent return. Matthew 1:22-23, Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1-5; 14:10-30, Hebrews 4:14-15, I Corinthians 15:3-4, Romans 1:3-4, Acts 1:9-11, I Timothy 6:14-15, Titus 2:13

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins and that all who believe in Him and confess Him are declared righteous because of His sacrificial death and are, therefore, in the right relationship with God. Salvation is God’s gift to man. Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin's penalty. Romans 5:1; 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 14:6; 1:12, Titus 3:5, Galatians 3:26

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit indwelling believers and thus enabling and empowering the life and ministry of the believer. The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. II Corinthians 3:17, John 16:7-13; 14:16-17, Acts 1:8, I Corinthians 2:12; 3:16, Ephesians 1:13, Galatians 5:25, Ephesians 5:18

We believe in the bodily resurrection of everyone who has lived, the everlasting blessedness of those in right relationship with God, and the everlasting punishment of those who have rejected God's forgiveness in His Son. John 3:16, I John 2:25; 5:11-13, Romans 6:23, Revelation 20:15

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and that all true believers are members of his body, the Church, with equality across race, gender, and class. Ephesians 1:22-23; Corinthians 12:12,27

We believe the ministry of evangelism is a responsibility of both the Church and each Christian. Romans 10:9-15; Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Peter 3:15
