Boys Home
Since 2009, over thirty-five boys have come to live at Love and Grace. Each one's story is heartbreaking. Our vision is to give each boy hope for the future and to see them mature into godly, honest, caring, hard working individuals.
The 2010 earthquake brought a lot of pain to Haiti, which made the need for Haitian ministries like Love and Grace even more necessary. Many of our boys came to us after that tragedy. Through these difficult times, our organization has allowed us to give the boys a loving home and a brighter future.
Our staff includes a Boys Home director, Emmanuel, an assistant director (Rony), two live-in nannies (Marlene and Kerline), an assistant day nanny (Viviane), a tutor (Henry-Claude), a cook (Wally) two laundry ladies (Christine and Olane), a driver, a gateman (Leonord), and a security guard (name withheld for security). Our director oversees the operations of the home. The assistant director works alongside the director and carries out daily responsibilities at the home while living there. He leads devotions each evening and an in-depth bible study on Saturday mornings. The nannies provide a caring environment for all the boys, including getting them ready for school, keeping the home clean and help to facilitate any other needs. Our cook preps and feeds our boys three meals a day.

Bridge Home
When the boys turn 18 years old, Haiti requires that they move out of the orphanage. For those who have no family to care for them, these young men would eventually end up on the streets. For Love and Grace Ministries this was not an option. We took a big step of faith and rented another home. We moved three of our boys out of the Boys Home in 2015 and into the new Bridge Home. Our biggest challenge is paying the rent for two homes.
At the Bridge Home, the young men will continue with their education and attend a vocational school to learn a trade or attend college so they can become self-sufficient and are able to become productive young men. For those who have families, they will be able to help support them and move back home.
Each day at the Bridge is similar to their schedule at the boys home with nightly devotions and prayer and an in depth bible study on Saturday mornings. They learn to cook, do laundry, and budget their monthly allowance. We want to create a brighter tomorrow for Haiti by raising up this next generation of Haitian leaders today.
The staff includes a director, Jaclain Cazy, a cook (Farah), and two laundry ladies (Rose & Rosana). The director and his family live at the home. The director oversees all operations of the Bridge, including managing the finances and disperses the operating funds to the director of the boys home. He also oversees the boy's home when necessary. The director is also a mechanic and services the vehicles, not only at the Bridge, but at the boy's home also.
